Adopt a Dormouse
Over the past 100 years dormice have become extinct across half their range in England. Dormice have been found in a number of sites in Surrey and are a priority species for conservation. By adopting a dormouse you will contribute to Surrey Wildlife Trust’s vital conservation work and help to protect one of our most popular and rare mammals. Profits from the adoptions will be used to pay for new dormouse nest boxes and to maintain existing nest boxes.
Adopt a dormouse packs cost £18.50 (incl. p&p) and include a personalised adoption certificate, dormouse fact sheet, FSC Guide to British Land Mammals, and a dormouse soft toy, photograph, sticker and badge. Recipients also receive two newsletters a year on how their money helps support Surrey's dormice.
To adopt a dormouse call Sophie Mariner on 01483 795442 or email sophie.mariner@surreywt.org.uk
Alternatively you can download the adoption form and send it in to Sophie at:
