Healthy Walks
Healthy walk flyerFree Healthy Walks around Guildford.
Our qualified volunteer walk leaders will advise you on how quickly to walk; you’ll start gently, building up pace with more experience.
Why Walk?
- It increases your self esteem and boosts your energy levels
- It improves your cardiovascular fitness, assists weight loss and tones your muscles
- It is also proven to reduce feelings of depression and anxiety
- It is low impact and no specialist equipment is required – just a pair of sturdy shoes!
- A chance to discover new places and people
Meet:
Mondays - The Corporation Club, Slyfield Green .
Tuesdays - St Peter’s Church, Hazel Ave, Bellfields.
10.45 am for 11am start.
Walks are approximately 2.5 – 3 miles in length and last about an hour.
The Slyfield walk has an optional shorter walk for those who need to walk slower.
No booking required – just turn up! New walkers just need to fill out a simple health questionnaire.
